God's Plan for Peace

Do you experience contentment and peace on a daily basis? God created us to find our fulfillment in knowing Him personally and thus have true joy and satisfaction in our lives. The first man and woman He created knew this joy of perfect communion with God until they chose to disobey Him. Adam and Eve tried to cover up their sin of disobedience but could not avoid the breach that sin brought. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Bible reference Romans 5:12

The holy God could not have eternal fellowship with humanity because we all are sinners by nature and by our actions against Him. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. Galatians 3:22 Because of God's great love for us, He provided Himself to take our sin debt away.

Jesus willingly gave His life on the cross to be the eternal and only payment for our sin. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17 But God commendeth (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Saved from what? Eternal separation from the presence of God. And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. Hebrews 9:27 Just as God's word tells us about heaven in the Bible; it also speaks plainly about hell. Jesus offers to rescue us from the penalty of hell and secure our future with Him in heaven. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. John 1:12

This rescue from hell and separation from God is through Jesus alone. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1

Each person must see his or her sin as God sees it. No excuses or blame shifting. We all have been disobedient as to how God wants us to live and in how we reverence Him. In sincerity, each person needs to come to Him for forgiveness and acknowledge His rightful place in his or her life. God is to be first place in our worship and in our decisions. We can do this by speaking to Him in prayer. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

An example prayer is this: God, I have broken your law and as a sinner I am sorry. I believe Jesus died on the cross to satisfy my sin debt. He arose from the grave as proof that He is who He says He is, God Himself. I claim your promise to forgive me and to take me in as a child of God. Thank you for preparing a place in heaven for me. Please help me as I begin this new way of life as one who follows Jesus. In Jesus name. Amen

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name. John 20:31 There are many avenues of assistance to help you learn more about God. Reading and studying the Bible is vital. Praying to God and having involvement in a local Bible church are basic practices that will aid you in the Christian life.
